20 Ambassadors to Mars, Part 1

The Team

April 21, 2015

You may have heard about the proposed trip to the planet Mars, being offered to 20 lucky people, by a private business.  The arrogant diatribe that follows this paragraph will contain a list of the 20 categories of humans who should go to Mars, so as to build as successful an earthling colony as possible.  Part 2 will focus on Demographic and People Related Issues, and Part 3 will focus on Survival and Mission Goals.

20 Categories of Mars Bound Humans
(in-the-know particular order):

Leader Visionary Decision Maker

Worker Follower Collector
You or I

Now I really don’t want to go to Mars, but I could not think of 1 other category of homo sapiens that should go.

Can you?

Do some of the choices surprise you, or is it now obvious since you have seen my answer?

Do you think I put together the right disciplines, in the sense that one person could cover those areas and still be between 20-30 years old (besides grandma)?

That wasn’t a mistake, we will need 2 co-leaders, for many reasons.  And 2 worker bees.

So where do you fit in, when it comes to representing all of us in the universe?

Who do you want to be?

Do you want to go at all, or are you chicken?

You have seen some of my writing already, and know that I have laid a few eggs, so don’t worry about judgment from me.

What are the most important areas to focus on for survival?

What do you think the short, medium, and long terms goals should be for this mission?

Some categories I did not choose include (very judgy of me)

Banker Gambler Salesman
Desperate Vain Attention Seeker
Dishonest Unfair Competitor
Over-consuming Ignorant Bully
Professional Athlete Teenager

In the coming days to weeks, I will post the rules…

Feel free to comment, you would be the first on my non facebook site!

I may even send you a free bowl of soup in the mail as a bonus with a small plaque.

Either way, I hope you enjoy thinking about life on Mars.
